Jermorlo Napolean Butler, aged 38, tragically lost his life on May 6, 2022, in Richmond, Virginia. Butler was found with gunshot wounds in an apartment on Rosetta Street in the Fairfield Court neighborhood. He was pronounced dead at the scene, while his longtime friend, Demetrise Simmons, who was also shot, was taken to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The incident occurred around 1:46 a.m. when Richmond Police responded to reports of a shooting.
