In the late morning of November 18, 2019, the life of 36-year-old Calvin Peay, a male from Richmond, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Just before 11:30 a.m., Richmond police were called to the 2300 block of Gordon Avenue on the city's south side for a report of a shooting. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered Peay lying in the roadway, having sustained a gunshot wound.
