In the early morning hours of September 25, 2020, the life of Rolando Maldonado-Ortega, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. At approximately 12:06 a.m., Richmond Police officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Clarkson Road following a call for an unknown trouble. Upon their arrival, they discovered Maldonado-Ortega suffering from a gunshot wound.
