Jett Gerald Higham, an 18-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 2, 2013. Jett had just finished dinner at his family's home on W. Clay Street in the Jackson Ward neighborhood when he decided to go for a walk to get some candy. Unfortunately, this routine outing turned fatal when he was shot three blocks away on E.
