On a summer night in 2013, the life of Victor Amilcar Soriano-Aviles, a 40-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in his Richmond, Virginia home. In the early moments of August 18th, just after midnight, two unidentified men with ill intentions forced their way into his apartment located at 1754 Clarkson Road, Apartment B. The intruders, described as two skinny Black males with their faces obscured by black masks, were armed and immediately demanded money.
