Aleena Marie Bermudez, a 4-year-old girl, died on June 30, 2019, in Glendale, Arizona. She and her mother, Selina Toyos, were shot to death in their home by Selina's boyfriend, Brandon Andres Bautista Torres. The incident occurred just one day before Aleena would have turned five years old.
