In the late afternoon of September 21, 2024, a tragedy unfolded in Chesterfield County, Virginia, that cut short the life of Terran Anthony Goode. The 31-year-old African American male, known affectionately to friends and family as 'Duck,' was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 7300 block of Hamner Terrace. Police had been called to the area for a reported shooting at approximately 4:25 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Goode, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
