On an April evening in 2014, the life of 33-year-old Ivan Tyree Bridges was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. The Black/African American male was discovered inside a vehicle in the 2100 block of Mimosa Street on April 23rd, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Alongside him was another victim, Ebony Naomi Hurd, who was also shot and later died from her injuries at a local hospital. Mr. Bridges was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind a wife and three children.
