In the early hours of Tuesday, February 25, 2020, the quiet of a Richmond, Virginia, apartment complex parking lot was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When police responded to a call for random gunfire and a person down in the 1500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway around 3:00 a.m., they discovered a grim scene. Two men were found unresponsive, each having sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
