Kavyea Curry, aged 34, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2014, in a shooting incident at a gas station in east Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred at approximately 10:09 p.m. when Curry was in his car with his two sons, a 10-year-old and a 5-year-old.
