On the night of December 11, 2018, a twenty-six-year-old male named Dylan Edwin Hill left his home in Lee's Summit, Missouri, around 10:15 p.m. He reportedly told his wife he was going to meet a friend, but his family later came to believe he had been lured into a trap. Approximately thirty minutes after his departure, police officers were dispatched to a dead-end area near East 80th Terrace and James A.
