On September 30, 2023, at approximately 6 a.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to a reported shooting in the 2000 block of Wheeling Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 50-year-old Philip Croft lying partially beneath a Hummer H2 in a townhome parking lot; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
