On the morning of Saturday, September 30, 2023, tragedy struck at an apartment complex in Kansas City, Missouri. Just before 6:00 a.m., officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the 2000 block of Wheeling Avenue following reports of a shooting.
