On November 21, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to reports of a shooting near East 70th Street and South Benton Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a woman outside the residence suffering from gunshot wounds; she directed them to a nearby home that had been struck by gunfire.
