In the afternoon hours of Saturday, January 9, 2021, a grim discovery was made on the 5500 block of Cypress Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Inside a vehicle, police found 28-year-old Richard Minor suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the arrival of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was quickly classified as a homicide, marking the third such case in the city for the year 2021.
