On February 20, 2023, the life of 41-year-old Aaron Lee Looney, Jr. was cut short in a violent incident on the streets of Kansas City, Missouri. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of East 31st Street and Van Brunt Boulevard following reports of a shooting.
