On February 20, 2023, Aaron Looney, aged 41, was fatally shot near East 31st Street and Van Brunt Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri. Police responded to the scene shortly before 3:45 p.m., finding Looney lying on the ground with critical injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
