On June 25, 2023, Camden M. Brown, aged 29, was tragically killed in a mass shooting near the intersection of 57th Street and Prospect Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. during an after-hours gathering at a local business. Two other individuals, 22-year-old Nikko A. Manning and 28-year-old Jasity J. Strong, also lost their lives in the shooting, which left six others injured.
