In the heart of winter, on December 16, 2020, the life of 21-year-old Roy Bausby was tragically cut short in a burst of violence in Kansas City, Missouri. The young man, along with 20-year-old Gabrial Freeman, was found deceased outside an apartment building in the Canyon Creek Apartments complex located at 93rd Street and Bales Avenue. The grim discovery was made by police officers who were dispatched to the scene just before 11 a.m. following reports of a shooting.
