On the evening of June 24, 2022, a violent incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in the death of 31-year-old male Nigel De’Jon Delon. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched just before 8:00 p.m. to a Family Dollar store located at 8215 Troost Avenue after receiving reports of a disturbance.
