Brandon "Mac Bear" Herring, a 21-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically found dead on November 22, 2016. His disappearance and subsequent death have left his family and community in a state of grief and frustration, as justice remains elusive. Brandon was last seen at the Park Meadows Apartment complex, and his body was discovered two months later in January 2017, in the area of 67th and Lewis, by searchers looking for another missing person, Jessica Runions.
