Fernando Perez, a 17-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on January 26, 2019. On that fateful night, Perez was out with two friends when they were all struck by gunfire. The group managed to drive to a nearby fire station for help, but unfortunately, Perez succumbed to his injuries. His death marked the ninth homicide in Kansas City for the year 2019.
