In the early hours of April 29, 2023, Kansas City, Missouri, experienced a series of tragic events resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including 28-year-old Deontrey Jones. At approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 7200 block of Wabash Avenue, where they found Jones suffering from gunshot wounds.
