On the evening of August 9, 2017, 28-year-old Timothy Barnes was fatally shot in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Centennial Way, where police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered Barnes suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Jackson Hospital, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead. His death marked Montgomery’s 26th homicide of the year.
