In the late evening of Monday, September 5, 2022, the life of a 31-year-old Black/African American man, Takata Floyd, was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. At approximately 10:41 p.m., police were called to the 500 block of Centennial Way, where they discovered Floyd suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the arrival of emergency services, his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
