In the fading daylight of Halloween 2021, a burst of violence on South Haardt Drive in Montgomery, Alabama, set in motion a chain of events that would ultimately claim the life of 34-year-old Elrico Briggs. On that Sunday, October 31st, gunfire erupted, leaving Briggs critically wounded and another man, 27-year-old Antonio Wright, dead at the scene.
