Gary Golthy, a 51-year-old Black man from Montgomery, was killed late on the night of June 26, 2015, in a burst of violence that left the city reeling through that weekend. Police said officers were called to the 4200 block of Brewer Court just before midnight and found him suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
