In the early hours of September 28, 2025, 21-year-old Christopher Washington, a male from Montgomery, was struck by gunfire on the 2400 block of East South Boulevard. Officers responding around 1 a.m. found Christopher Washington and a woman with life-threatening wounds and a second woman with a less serious injury.
