In the early morning hours of September 28, 2025, the life of 21-year-old Christopher Lamar Washington Jr. was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of a City Trends on East South Boulevard in Montgomery, Alabama. Washington was not the only person struck by the hail of bullets that night; two women were also wounded but survived their injuries.
