Ta'Byus McGhee, a 19-year-old African American male from Montgomery, Alabama, was fatally shot on February 12, 2021. The incident occurred outside an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Woodley Square West. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 3 p.m. and found McGhee suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Emergency responders stabilized him at the scene before transporting him to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
