On September 9, 2022, 24-year-old Adarius "Lil D" Felder was fatally shot at the Midtown Oaks Apartments in the 3500 block of Carter Hill Road, Montgomery, Alabama. Responding to reports of a shooting around 4 a.m., police discovered Felder with a fatal gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
