On June 22, 2022, 12-year-old Nelson Kemarion "Kemo" Harris was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Montgomery, Alabama. The event occurred around 9 p.m. in the 2800 block of Cherry Street, where Nelson was on the porch of a residence. During the shooting, a woman also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
