Derrick Christmas, a 32-year-old Black man from Milwaukee, was shot and killed in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 23, 2025, in the city’s Uptown neighborhood near North 52nd Street and West Meinecke Avenue. According to Milwaukee Police and local news reports, officers were called to the area at about 2:30 a.m., where they found him with fatal gunshot wounds on the 5200 block of West Meinecke Avenue; first responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
