On a summer night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Daniel W. LaFond, a 28-year-old Caucasian male, had spent the evening of Wednesday, July 20, 1977, at a tavern located in the 3800 block of N. Port Washington Road. Inside the establishment, he passed the time playing pool with another man for about two and a half hours before his departure. This would be the last time he was seen alive.
