In the summer of 2022, on the third of July, the life of 21-year-old Deagan Miller was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. Police were called to the Reserve Apartments located in the 6100 block of Boardwalk Boulevard, where they discovered Miller with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the death of the young male was quickly classified as a homicide.
Despite the efforts of the Montgomery Police Department, the case has grown cold, with no suspects publicly identified and no arrests made. In an effort to generate new leads, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers has offered a cash reward of $2,500 for any information that leads to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for Deagan Miller's death. Investigators and Miller's family continue to appeal to the public for assistance, hoping that someone will come forward with the information needed to bring a resolution to this ongoing investigation. The case remains a somber reminder of a young life lost to gun violence.
