On a cold winter evening in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 29-year-old Keith Allen Spells was tragically cut short. On Monday, December 28, 2020, Spells was found with a fatal gunshot wound in the 1600 block of Lee Street. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was quickly ruled a homicide by the Montgomery Police Department, marking another grim statistic in the city's struggle with gun violence.
