On December 8, 2020, at approximately 5:40 AM, Montgomery police responded to a shooting in the 4300 block of Woodley Square. Upon arrival, they discovered 18-year-old Byron Hicks, a Montgomery resident, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation led to the identification of 16-year-old Corey Floyd, also from Montgomery, as the suspect. Floyd was subsequently arrested and charged with murder in connection with Hicks's death. The circu ...Read More
