On January 7, 2018, 28-year-old Damion Clarke was fatally shot at the Dollar General store on Cherry Hill Road in Montgomery, Alabama. Montgomery patrol officers responded to the scene and found Clarke suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
