On May 12, 1985, in Montgomery, Alabama, 34-year-old Grover Jarrett was fatally shot by Robert James Grice. Grice, who had a tumultuous relationship with his wife, Louise Grice, armed himself with a shotgun and went to her residence at 1325 Bellview Street. Upon entering the back bedroom, he found Jarrett lying on a bed without his shoes and shot him to death.
