Johan Sarmiento-Peralta, a 17-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 4, 2022. On that day, Johan was attending a soccer game with friends at the 9th & Van Brunt Athletic Fields Park. The incident occurred on his birthday, adding to the heartbreak of the event.
