On November 3, 2023, 22-year-old Mihail Martinez-Aguilar was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. near a convenience store in the 4800 block of Independence Avenue, following an argument between Martinez-Aguilar and an individual known to him. After sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, he was transported to Truman Medical Center in a private vehicle.
