Allavar Taylor, a 21-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on April 24, 2018, in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred at approximately 7:14 p.m. in the 12100 block of South Stewart. Taylor was shot multiple times and was critically wounded. He was transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 8:07 p.m. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed his death the following morning.
