Devan L. Jones, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 29, 2019, in the Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert at approximately 1:53 a.m. They found Jones in the vestibule of a building located in the 7800 block of South Indiana Avenue.
