Candido Salinas, a 28-year-old man, was fatally shot in a drive-by incident on January 13, 2024, in Chicago's McKinley Park neighborhood. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. when Salinas was standing on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of West 33rd Street. A vehicle pulled up, and an offender inside the vehicle produced a firearm and fired shots, striking Salinas in the chest and head.
