Death by Force

On March 4, 2017, 22-year-old African American male Antoine D. Watkins was found deceased in a vacant lot in the 5400 block of West Ohio Street in Chicago's West Side Austin neighborhood. Officers responded to a call at approximately 12:23 p.m. and discovered Watkins, who lived about a block away, dead at the scene. An autopsy revealed that he had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
