Gregory Williams Jr., a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on July 14, 2017, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 8000 block of South Vernon Avenue, in the Chatham neighborhood, where Gregory lived. He was pronounced dead at 3:10 a.m. on the same day.
