David J. Plank, a 54-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on August 3, 2016, in Chicago, IL. Plank was fatally shot while driving through the Avalon Park neighborhood on his way to work at Jackson Park Hospital. The incident occurred near 84th and Stony Island, where a bullet pierced his car, striking him in the chest. This caused him to crash into another vehicle.
