In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Kansas City, Missouri, the sound of gunshots shattered the quiet, leading to the discovery of a young man's life cut tragically short. Just before 2 a.m. on November 17, 2019, police responded to a call in the area of East 10th Street and Chestnut Avenue. There, they found 27-year-old Darren Thompson, who had been shot and killed.
