On August 28, 2024, 44-year-old Shaun Brady, co-owner of the Brady & Fox restaurant in Kansas City, Missouri, was fatally shot while taking out the trash behind his establishment. The incident occurred around 5:18 p.m. near East 63rd Street and Rockhill Road. Brady reportedly confronted two individuals attempting to steal a vehicle, leading to an altercation during which he was shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
