In the late summer of 2021, the life of Stephen Mckenzie was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. On September 15, 2021, the 29-year-old man, born on June 12, 1992, to Rhoda Rebecca Sawyer and Hubert Handson Jr., died from a gunshot wound. Mckenzie was a former student of Central High School where he had been a member of the football team. At the time of his death, he was working as a private paint contractor and was known for his enjoyment of music.
