• 1977: Murder of Anna "Polly" Duval In 1977, Martini murdered Anna "Polly" Duval as part of a real estate scam. He disposed of her body in a field near Philadelphia International Airport. Years later, he was extradited to Philadelphia, where he was tried and convicted in 1997 for this crime.
• January 1987: Alleged Murders of Aunt and Her Husband Martini allegedly killed his aunt and her husband at their home in Atlantic City, New Jersey. However, he was never tried for these murders.
• November 1988: Murders of Teresa Marie Dempster and David Richard Uhl In November 1988, Martini killed Teresa Marie Dempster, 27, and David Richard Uhl, 42, near Glendale, Arizona. In August 1992, he pleaded guilty to these murders to avoid the death penalty and was sentenced to 50 years in prison.
• January 1989: Kidnapping and Murder of Irving Flax In January 1989, Martini kidnapped Irving Flax in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Despite receiving the ransom payment from Mrs. Flax, Martini murdered Mr. Flax. He was subsequently tried, convicted, and sentenced to death for this murder. However, his sentence was commuted to life in prison when New Jersey abolished the death penalty.
