Criminal Activities

The Haley brothers were implicated in numerous heinous crimes, with Reginald often acting in concert with Kevin. Their modus operandi typically involved "hot prowl" burglaries, where they broke into occupied homes at night, leading to assaults and, in several cases, murders. Investigations linked them to approximately 500 burglaries, at least 60 assaults involving rape, and multiple murders during their crime spree.

• T. Okauchi, 88: Robbed and beaten to death on August 4, 1984, at her home on 1200 South Manhattan Place.
• Elizabeth Karp, 89: Beaten and strangled on 8700 West Olympic Boulevard; the exact date was not released.
• Elizabeth Burns, 79: Raped and murdered at her home on 300 Reeves Drive in Beverly Hills; the exact date was not released.
• Laverne Stolzy, 56: Found dead at her home on June 25, 1984; she had been raped and murdered.
