Craig Price committed four murders in his neighborhood in Warwick, Rhode Island. His victims were all neighbors, and the crimes were characterized by extreme violence.

• Rebecca Spencer: On July 27, 1987, Price, at the age of 13, broke into the home of 27-year-old Rebecca Spencer, who lived just two houses away. He stabbed her 58 times, killing her.
• Joan Heaton: On September 1, 1989, Price, then 15, invaded the home of 39-year-old Joan Heaton. He stabbed her 57 times.
• Jennifer Heaton: During the same incident, Price murdered Joan's 10-year-old daughter, Jennifer, stabbing her 62 times. The brutality of the attack left a knife blade lodged in her neck.
• Melissa Heaton: Price also killed Joan's 7-year-old daughter, Melissa, during the same attack. She suffered 30 stab wounds, and her skull was crushed.

Aftermath

Craig Price was arrested on September 5, 1989, just before his 16th birthday. He confessed to the murders calmly.
